Roles Available

Sales/Style Consultant

The ideal Sales/Style Consultant is motivated and enjoys working one-on-one with customers and thrives in a competitive sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set and achieve personal sales goals while supporting the goals of the team
  • Measure clients for bespoke suit/shirt orders (this will be taught by our tailors)
  • Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner
  • Provide honest and confident feedback to customers regarding merchandise style and fit
  • Build lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest new merchandise and invite them to upcoming events
  • Consistently seek new fashion and product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer
  • Work as a team player to ensure each customer receives the best service possible
  • Perform daily department maintenance tasks including stock work, re-merchandising, display, merchandise transfers and light cleaning

Qualifications

  • Have a high school diploma, or equivalent (preferable)
  • Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals
  • Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in a commission-based environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and coworkers
  • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about fashion
  • Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
Sales/Operations Manager

The ideal Sales/Operations Manager is self-motivated and enjoys managing operations in a fast-paced sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Run the end-to-end operations of our retail store
  • Set and achieve shop sales targets while supporting the goals of the team
  • Measure clients for bespoke suits and shirts (additional training will be provided)
  • Manage a team of sales consultants and a tailor
  • Train staff in all aspects of retail
  • Full understanding of retail POS (MYOB)
  • Provide honest and confident feedback to customers regarding merchandise style and fit
  • Build lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest new merchandise and invite them to upcoming events
  • Consistently seek new fashion and product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer
  • Perform daily department maintenance tasks including stock work, re-merchandising, display, merchandise transfers and light cleaning

Tailor / Seamstress

The ideal Tailor/Seamstress is motivated, result oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and complete alterations/ fittings according to The Suit Concierge guidelines and service standards
  • Steaming & ironing of garments delivered to the shop
  • Quality/ measurement checks on bespoke tailored items as per order requirements
  • Organize workload and complete items on time
  • Meet or exceed productivity targets
  • Follow through on customer needs in a timely manner
  • Actively build and maintain product knowledge through an awareness of fit, style, construction and trends
  • Educate customers and employees on proper fit, shop procedures and guidelines in a professional and friendly manner

Qualifications

  • Have a high school diploma, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Previous experience in alterations/tailoring
  • Understanding of safe and proper use of all sewing equipment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and interact with customers and coworkers in a personable, professional manner
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic written communication skills
  • High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store needs
